Custom memory candles are another specialty at Isle of Candles. Created so you can forever treasure special occasions of your life, our memory candles preserve flowers that are near and dear to your heart.
Memory candles are designed to be illuminated, yet will never burn away. That’s because the candles are hollow and should be used with a flameless candle or a disposable oil burner. The light from the inside the candle casts a beautiful glow on the outside, showcasing your flowers as they are illuminated from within.
Custom memory candles are custom designed and hand crafted. Each flower is placed in the candle mold by hand. All candles are coated with proprietary glaze, which prevents dirt from penetrating the wax. This allows the memory candles to be cleaned with water.

Memory Candles Come in Many Sizes Choose a round or oval custom memory candle in two sizes: small and large. Small memory candles require five or six flower heads per candle; and large memory candles must have nine or 10 flower heads.
Flower Preparation To ship your precious flowers to Isle of Candles so they can be transformed into a beautiful custom memory candle, please follow these simple steps:
- Cut off all but two inches of the flower stem
- Loosely layer the flowers between white paper towels
- Do not enclose flowers in plastic bags as this traps water and encourages mold
- Ship to Isle of Candles via Express or Priority Mail
Please Note Not all flowers may be suitable for use in a custom memory candle. Flowers change color as they dry and some may appear darker than their original color. Due to irregular flower shapes, a small part of the flower may be exposed or there may be small air pockets in the candle’s wax walls. This is normal and does detract from the beauty of illumination.
Payment Payment is due at the time order is placed. Custom orders are not returnable. All major credit cards are accepted.
